Burglars thwarted in Middleton break-in

BURGLERS who tried to gain entry to a house in Middleton were foiled by a beaded window.

The attempted break-in took place between 11.30am on Tuesday, January 22 and 8am the following day in Halswell Place, Middleton.

The burglers tried to enter the property by removing the beading on a rear window.

But their efforts were thwarted and they eventually abandoned their attempts.

Thames Valley Police have launched an appeal for witnesses. Anyone with information should PC Jade Trower on 101.
