Mariachi, mambo, folk or acoustic roots? Whatever your musical tastes, visit Milton Keynes’ open-air festival celebrating the music and dance of the world at World Picnic 2014.
This free event takes place on Sunday, July 27 from 1pm to 6pm at Campbell Park for the whole family to enjoy multicultural music and dance acts on the amphitheatre stage.
Bring your own picnic or sample a variety of international cuisine provided by an exciting array of stallholders.
The Picnic will be opened by the Cairo Cats and the line-up includes music and entertainment from eight different bands and musical groups, including Inta Africa, the Dimond Theatre School, Linda Watkins Band, Mariachi Tequila, Mambo Jambo, Badra Tribal and Crossroots.
Further entertainment will be provided by IF Milton Keynes International Festival who will present a variety of events, including the Jaipur Kawa Brass Band. The day’s compere is Dez Kay.
Recommended and free parking is in Campbell Park, access from Avebury Boulevard and the event is completely free to attend.
