Charged carers appear before Magistrates

Henrietta Offae, who is charged with neglecting patients at Westlands Residential Home in Olney

TWO women charged with neglect at a city residential home appeared before Milton Keynes Magistrates this morning.

Henrietta Offae, 41, and 55-year-old Titlayo Ajalahave been charged with 19 counts of wilfully neglecting a person without capacity when they worked at Westlands Residential Home in Olney.

Offae has also ben charged with possessing a false passport, which has been surrendered to Thames Valley Police.

The case was adjourned until January 11 so that an interpreter could be found for Ms Ajala.

Neither defendant has entered a plea as yet.
