The Craft Guide of Chefs Association will be casting its eyes over the city’s best chefs at the Milton Keynes Food and Leisure Awards.
Members will be judging the chefs’ live cook off on April 8 which will be held at Milton Keynes College.
They will also be judging one extra restaurant after Olivier Bertho, executive chef at Olivier’s, threw his hat into the ring for the Chef of the Year crown.
Olivier said: “On behalf of all the team at Olivier’s restaurant and the hotel we are delighted to be nominated in three categories. We are passionate about creating seasonal menus while collaborating with the very best of local suppliers. The MK Awards Food and Leisure Awards, I believe, also helps to reward and recognise all the hard work undertaken by those in the hospitality industry and those who love good food.”
The Craft Guide was established in 1965 as a Guild of the Cookery and Food Association. It has since developed to become the leading chefs’ association across the UK with members across the world.
Members come from all aspects of the food service and hospitality sectors, working in a wide variety of positions from students and trainees to top management.
