SHOPPERS at thecentre:mk were treated to a live Carol service on Friday that was literally Out of the Blue.

Britain’s Got Talent performers, Out of the Blue, performed a host of Christmas hits – in reverse.

As part of a promotion, highlighting new service Freeview+, the 14-strong, all male a cappella group covered classics including We Wish You a Merry Christmas, Jingle Bells and Let it Snow.

Ollie Nichols, who has been singing with the group for a year, said: “As a group we’re known for surprising audiences with off the wall performances but it was good to see busy shoppers stop in their tracks when they heard us.

Children loved pressing the large Freeview+ remote control to hear us sing backwards as well which was really fun.”
