WE’RE old romantics at heart here at the Citizen.

That’s why we have had no hesitation in joining forces with Wolverton restaurant Verandah Talk to offer one lucky couple a fantastic Valentine’s Day treat.

The Lebanese/Indian eatery, based in Stratford Road, is offering a romantic meal for two, complete with a bottle of champagne.

Verandah Talk, which features the city’s only Shisha Terrace, will be holding special Valentine’s events on Thursday, Feb­ru­ary 14 and Sat­urday, Feb­ru­ary 16.

The restaurant is putting on a delicious Valentine’s Day menu for just £14.95, while music will be provided by a super tal­en­ted pian­ist and vocal­ist Holly Brewer.

The 17-year-old singer’s rep­er­toire ranges from con­tem­por­ary to Amer­ican R&B and Swing & Jazz.

She has pre­vi­ously starred at Milton Keynes Theatre, the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in the West End and even the world renowned Albert Hall.

Chicken tikka, lamb sheikh kebabs, lamb chops, chicken wings on a bed of grilled onions and peppers.

Selec­tion of veget­able sam­o­sas, veget­able pakoras and onion bhaj­jis served with deli­cious tam­ar­ind sauce.
