A delivery driver had his van stolen after being threatened by a thief in Sherington.

The 21-year-old drivers iPhone 5, Blackberry and Sat Nav were also inside the van when it was stolen as the driver was making a delivery in the High Street on March 4 at 3.20pm.

The offender then drove away in the van, which was followed by a British Racing Green Rover 200, which was described as having no hub caps and was possibly a Y reg.

The side door of the van stayed open for miles as it was driven away before being abandoned in Gayhurst.

The offender is described as being of Asian appearance with an eastern European accent, 5ft 8ins, of stocky build, and aged between 30 and 35 years old.

He had scars underneath his chin.

The man in the Rover was wearing the same coat as the other offender, which was a button-up farm coat with multi-coloured squares. No further description is available.

Any witnesses can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
