E-fit released after indecent exposure

Thames Valley Police has released an E-fit of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an incident in which a man exposed himself on Sunday.

At around 4.45pm, an 11-year-old girl was sledging with her friend on a hill in front of Oakgrove School, Woolstone, when a jogger arrived and sat on a bench behind them. He tied his laces and then started running again.

About 10 minutes later, the offender arrived back and saw the victim was alone. He approached her and from 10ft away said ‘Hey look at this’, then exposed himself. When he saw the victim’s friend coming back, he ran off.

PC Atif Karim, of Milton Keynes police station, said: “I would like to appeal to anyone who has information about this man or recognises the man in this E-fit.

“The area was busy when the offender first arrived; however as it was getting dark there weren’t many people around when he returned 10-15 minutes later and I am keen to speak to someone who saw the man jogging in the area.”

The offender is described as white, between 23 and 26-years-old, slim, about 5ft 11ins, and clean shaven. He was wearing a blue long-sleeved water-proof jacket, blue knee-length shorts, and a black hat with baby blue strip on it. He spoke with local accent.

Anyone with any information should contact PC Karim via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police Enquiry Line on 101.

If you don’t want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
