Fatal collision closes A5
Road closed for four hours this morning
Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision in the early hours of this morning (3/9).
At about 3.36am, on the A5 Northbound carriageway, between Abbey Hill roundabout and Old Stratford, a silver Toyota Avensis was involved in a collision with a pedestrian who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed for around four hours and reopened at 7.45am.
