Firefighters called to fires, road accidents and false alarms across Milton Keynes

Firefighters were called to a number of incidents across the Milton Keynes area over the last 24 hours.

Crews were called to the following incidents on Tuesday:

9.09pm: Arson suspected - fire in play area, Whitethorns, Newport Pagnell. One appliance and crew from Newport Pagnell attended.

7.55pm: Automatic fire alarm, Wisewood Road, Woodhill, Milton Keynes. One appliance and crew from Great Holm attended. False alarm.

5.43pm: Rubbish fire on open ground, Fonda Meadows, Oxley Park, Milton Keynes. One appliance and crew from Great Holm attended.

12.29pm: Firefighters were called to make the scene safe following a road traffic collision involving two vehicles, Grafton Street, Oldbrook, Milton Keynes. One appliance and crew from Great Holm attended. A man and a woman were released, injured, before they arrived.

4.29am: Automatic fire alarm, Oakwood Drive, Bletchley. One appliance and crew from Bletchley (call sign FJC 12P1) attended. False alarm.
