Further setback for wind farm protestors
No appeal to Lords
Protestors have been denied the right to go to the House of Lords in their attempt to thwart plans for the Emberton wind farm.
Andrew Finn-Kelcey, who owns land close to were the seven 125 metre turbines will stand, has been refused permission by the law lords to apply to the Lords to challenge earlier decisions by the High Court and Appeal Court rejecting his challenge.
No reasons were given in the decision by the law lords.
Local residents group Bucks Lacks Enough Wind (BLEW) has been backing Mr Finn-Kelcey.
The protestors are trying to compel Milton Keynes Council to re-think its decision approving the project.
