GALLERY: Drugs charges brought after Operation Rouse

TWELVE men have been charged as a result of yesterday’s early morning drugs raids.

Hundreds of officers executed 22 warrants during the dawn operation, which saw a total of 20 people arrested across the Thames Valley area.

The majority of those arrested under Operation Rouse came from Milton Keynes.

Four more warrants were executed in the Metropolitan Police area and one in Northampton.

Officers seized thousands of pounds of cash and various class A and class B drugs.

Thames Valley Police Commander, Superintendent Barry Halliday, said: “This investigation has been going on for some time. We have been very thorough and taken considerable time.

“We will be relentless in targeting on those who are involved in these crimes.”

Last night, police charged two men with drug offences. The pair were due to appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court today.

Joram Thuo, 28, from Llewellyn Chase, Old Wolverton, was charged with three counts of possession with intent to supply crack cocaine.

And 35-year-old Scott Sherwood, from Ramsgill Court, Heelands, was charged with eight counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, cocaine and heroin.

Just after midday today a further police announced that a further ten men have been charged.

They are:

Abdi Mohamed, 29, of Conniburrow Boulevard, Conniburrow, charged with four counts of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply.

Ali Shah, 28, of Larch Road, London, charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

Abdi Osman, 30, of North Tenth Street, Milton Keynes, charged with one count of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and one count of possession of cannabis (class B).

Remi Akinyemi, 29, of Down Barns Boulevard, charged with six counts of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.

Luke Smith, 20, of Franklins Croft, Wolverton, charged with four counts of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply.

Gavin Walker, 24, of Newhall Road, Henley Green, Coventry, charged with one count of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply.

Shahazan Ali, 31, of Buckley Court, Stony Stratford, charged with three counts of supplying a class A drug.

Ferdinand Hewitt, 35, of Edmund Court, Shenley Church End, charged with five counts of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply and one count of possession of a class B drug.

Foad Hirsi, 23, of North Tenth Street, Milton Keynes, charged with one count of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply and one count of possession of a class B drug.

A 17-year-old boy from Milton Keynes, charged with five counts of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply.

The ten are also due to appear at ilton Keynes Magistrates’ Court today.

Six men and two women who were also arrested in connection with Operation Rouse have been released on bail.

They are:

A 32-year-old man from Conniburrow arrested on suspicion of possession of a class B drug has been released on bail until January 30.

A 36-year-old man from Eaglestone arrested on suspicion of possession of class A and B drugs with intent to supply has been released on bail until January 14.

A 27-year-old woman from Downs Barn arrested on suspicion of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply has been released on bail until December 14.

A 22-year-old woman from Wolverton arrested on suspicion of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply has been released on bail until January 31.

A 24-year-old man from London arrested on suspicion of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply has been released on bail until January 24.

A 22-year-old man from London arrested on suspicion of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply has been released on bail until January 28.

A 28-year-old man from London arrested on suspicion of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply has been released on bail until January 24.

A 17-year-old boy from London arrested on suspicion of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply has been released on bail until January 18.
