The Parks Trust is looking for people to capture wonderful views, wildlife or a treasured family memory inspired by Milton Keynes’ parks.
The city has some of the finest parks in the country and so the Trust is encouraging residents and visitors to enter The Parks Trust’s Photography Competition to help show the city’s parks in all their beauty and extraordinary variety.
The Parks Trust’s 2014 competition aims to highlight the beautiful and diverse landscapes, features and people of Milton Keynes. The competition has three different categories - wildlife, landscape and parklife.
The competition is open to both adults and children and an overall winner will be selected from all three categories. Entries will be judged by a panel of judges and the winner will receive £350 in photography vouchers. Runners up will receive £50 in vouchers and the opportunity to be published in The Parks Trust’s 2014 calendar.
David Foster, Chief Executive of The Parks Trust, said: “The competition is a great opportunity for all ages to get involved and share their favourite views and greenspaces in Milton Keynes.
“Previous winning entries have produced some stunning and often unusual images and we’re really looking forward to seeing what people capture on camera this summer.”
The competition runs until Friday, August 29, 2014. For further information and how to enter the competition visit www.theparkstrust.com
