City runners are gearing up for this year’s Sport Relief challenge which will see them able to walk or run for one, three or five miles.
The run will set off from Silbury Boulevard at 10.30am on March 23 and organisers are hoping it will be as big a success as last year’s event.
Vicki Clark, from MK Sports Development, said: “This is the third time the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile has come to Milton Keynes, so let’s don the headband and make this the biggest and best event yet and show the rest of the country what we can do.
“There will be plenty of activities and entertainment on the day, so don’t forget to rope in your mates, family and colleagues too.”
People can also take part in a number of other activities to raise money for Sport Relief inspired by Davina McCall, who ran, swam and cycled for seven solid days for her Beyond Breaking Point challenge.
