Group doubt Church Farm consultation period
No Caption ABCDE
THE group fighting against development in Church Farm are concerned that not enough people knew about the council’s consultation period.
Consultation closed on Friday for residents in the area to submit their views on the development.
Of the 1,750 homes in the consultation zone, 133 questionnaires were returned, prompting ReviseSR4 to question whether the council advertised the period appropriately.
ReviseSR4 Chairman Ginny Tait said: “We are concerned that the difficulties faced by residents in finding information about Church Farm would suggest that a proper consultation with residents was not one of the council’s objectives. We are keen to find out why.”

Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 05:32 PMThe opponents are dissapointed that despite their best efoorts to say no to everything that in this day and age with the state of the UK economy most people don't have time for self indulgence. In the meantime a lot of poeple , easpecially in the construction industry, would like jobs and pay taxes...get over it
