Family and friends of Henry Allen are calling on support to mark the official launch of their new charity by ‘sending a message’ to the four-year-old.

The balloon release will be the first event organised by The Henry Allen Trust with people asked to write a message on a balloon for Henry before releasing it.

The poignant display will be held at Chepstow Park in Bletchley, from 2.45pm on March 2.

Henry, aged just four, died in October after battling Neuroblastoma, a rare form of childhood cancer.

His parents Dawn and Mark are organising the balloon release in his memory and asking for donations to boost charity funds. All money will go the Trust which was set up to carry on the good work started by the Henry Allen Appeal.

The family is also hoping the event will give them a chance to share and take comfort from the message, ‘Henry’s happiness brings your family happiness.’

Dawn said: “We would be honoured if you would join us in releasing a balloon and helping us launch The Henry Allen Trust to mark Henry’s legacy.

“This is a new charity currently being set up in memory of our amazing super brave superhero Henry Allen.”
