A man referred to by police as a ‘human crime wave’ has been jailed for four years for 22 burglaries.
Daniel Dowse, 30, of North Row, was convicted of one count of burglary dwelling and theft when he appeared at Aylesbury Crown Court on February 7, after pleading guilty.
On that occasion he had broken into a house in Belsize Avenue, Springfield on December 21 before stealing a camera, an Xbox and a television.
During his hearing he also admitted to 21 other burglaries which were taken into consideration by the court. These were all committed between October 25 and January 1.
Detective Inspector Suzette Allcorn, said: “Dowse wanted to co-operate with police and to make full admissions to the other offences he had committed. His intention was to clean his slate and hopefully bring some closure to victims knowing that the offender had been brought to justice.”
