It’s looking a lot like Christmas with Dame Cleo stamps

JAZZ legend Dame Cleo Laine has been featured on a special Christmas stamp released by Bletchley Park.

Dame Cleo, whose family is considered part of jazz music royalty, was recently featured on a set of postage stamps to celebrate her 85th birthday.

Now the Christmas edition will be released just in time for the 2012 ‘Cleo’s Christmas’ concert at The Stables which will be held on December 14.

The issue will help to raise important funds for the Wavendon Foundation set up by The First Lady of Jazz Dame Cleo and her late husband Sir John Dankworth. A sheet of First Class stamps costs £30 with a commemorative envelope bearing a single stamp costing £10.

The stamps are only available via Bletchley Park Post Office next door to The Mansion, the former undercover mail room of the Enigma codebreakers during the Second World War.

To get hold of your limited edition postage stamps or commemorative cover envelope call 01908 363489 or visit the Bletchley Covers website at www.bletchleycovers.com
