It's Blake's heaven

Calendar girl falls for classical lads

IT'S not often you get picked up by a boyband, but that's exactly what

happened to lingerie lovely Helen Tosney.

The 26-year-old got a huge lift when she met classical singers Blake at the London launch of the Pin-up For Heroes calendar in which she stars.

The promotional night was held at the Hard Rock Cafe in London and saw Helen and her fellow models sporting their calendar attire – 1940s-style clothes.

Helen, who moved to Milton Keynes a couple of years ago, said: "We had black satin robes provided by Pandora's Choice to wear over our outfits to preserve our modesty somewhat whilst walking around.

"A lot of people turned up to support the event.

"We six ladies in our outfits posed for photographs and signed calendars. Blake, the classical boyband, attended and also signed calendars and posed for photos with the girls and with other invitees."

Blake performed two songs on the night and Helen said: "It was an absolutely smashing night.

"I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it – especially being picked up by Blake!

"They told me how fab I looked – I almost fainted there and then.

"We raised a lot of money for the charity, which is what it is all about. Roll on next year's calendar."

And while the calendar is proving a hit on the fundraising front, a charity auction, which included 100 for the outfit Helen wore for the calendar, has added to the pot.

Her evening was topped off by interviews with a national newspaper as well as British Forces TV.

For the calendar all of the girls featured in a range of different scenes including on the side of planes and a giant playing card.

Helen's image shows her sitting in a giant cocktail glass in some of the 1940s-style lingerie, which was provided by Pandora's Choice.

The calendar is available now at 7.99 with an additional 2.50 for postage and packing if you order online at the website www.pinupforheroes.co.uk

All of the money raised will go to the Help For Heroes charity.
