Milton Keynes Film Network has moved into its new home at the Arts Central building.

The centre is also home to the Filmmakers Cinema which has been built thanks to generous donations from businesses based in and around MK and MK Council.

The new cinema space can seat up to 80 people as well as being used for networking events. It will be available for filmmakers to hire and premiere their films.

The flexible space will double as a film-making studio and for filming and streaming its own live events.

A ‘filmmakers’ cinema space for filmmakers’, it will also be used to host auditions and workshops and become a place for filmmakers to meet fellow cast and crew.

MKFN holds its first network event at the venue, Station House, from 7pm-9pm. It costs £2 per person and you’ll need to register in advance. Refreshments will be served.

To book email mkfilmnetwork@ic-mk.org or check out the website: www.mkfilmnetwork.net
