BUDDING young movie directors were invited to the debut open day of the city’s Junior Filmmakers club this week.

The club aims to introduce young people aged between five and 19 to the skills of making films.

Organised by JCC Local Media Initiatives, it is based at studios in Lloyds Court, Central Milton Keynes.

During the 12-week programme, youngsters learn to create scripts, prepare story boards and arrange crew and cast for a production.

They then film and edit their own 10 minute creation.

Currently members are already working on a documentary about the relationship between supplementary and mainstream schools in the city.

For more information call 07970347723 or email juniorfilmmakers@jcclmi.org
