Have your say

Fast food wrappers, cans and bottles, crisp packets – over 180 bin bags worth of litter are being carelessly discarded in the city’s parks every week.

The Big Litter Pick will take place at Furzton Lake today (July 23) between 10am and 12pm and The Parks Trust is encouraging all those who love Milton Keynes’ parks to help pick litter and make the parks cleaner and safer places to visit.

The impact that litter has on the city’s parks and the wildlife that depend on them is growing and The Parks Trust’s message is simple - “If you love your parks please take your litter home.”

If you’d like to help us care for our special green spaces join us at the Big Litter Pick.

All ages are welcome and litter-picking equipment will be provided. Volunteers can join park rangers for just half an hour or the full two hour session.
