Man arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drink or drugs after two people were killed in Milton Keynes

A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving after a man and woman were killed in a car crash in Milton Keynes’ Millers Way yesterday.

The 26-year-old man remains in custody after he was suspected to have been driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs when three cars were in collision at the junction with Hodge Lea Lane.

It happened at around 9.45am and involved a silver Vauxhall Vectra, silver Skoda Fabia and white Mitsubishi L200.

Anyone who witnessed the fatal collision or has any information that may assist the investigation, should contact PS Simon Lincoln of the Thames Valley Police Roads Policing Team at Milton Keynes on the non-emergency number 101.
