Man assaulted close to Crownhill Crematorium

A MAN was assaulted on Friday as he walked on the redway close to Crownhill Crematorium.

At about 12.30am the man felt someone pull the hood of his top and push him down.

The two men, who were said to have eastern European accents, left the man on the floor with a bloody nose before running away. They both wore scarves around their faces and tracksuits.

Witnesses can call police on 101.
