A 58-year-old man was robbed of his newly-bought Xbox by a man on a bike who claimed it belonged to him.

The victim had been walking home on the redway, parallel to V7 near Ashlands, towards Beanhill between 10am and 10.30am on Sunday.

There was a struggle between the pair as they argued over who the Xbox belonged to before the man on the bike pushed the victim to the ground and punched him in the face several times.

He attended Milton Keynes Hospital after suffering a possible injury to his jaw and swelling to his hands and nose.

The offender snatched the Xbox and then made off on foot.

The offender is white, around 20-years-old, 5ft 11ins, slim, with short light coloured hair, possibly dirty blonde to light brown, and slight stubble.

He was wearing a light blue long sleeved top and dark coloured trousers.

Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the offender in the area or anyone acting suspiciously.

Anyone with information should contact Det Con Susan Russell of Milton Keynes local area CID via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.

If you don’t want to speak directly to the police, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
