A 42-year-old man was assaulted and robbed as he cycled to work in Netherfield last week.

While riding his bike at around 5.20am on Monday, April 7, the victim was approached by three men who blocked his path.

One of them knocked him off his bike and punched the victim in the face before the other two men stole his bicycle.

One of the men was in his late teens and was around 5ft 10ins tall with an athletic build, long face with a pointed jaw and wearing a dark-coloured top.

The bike was a white Barracuda racing bike with black stripes and the word ‘Barracuda’ is written on the bike with gold writing.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for information about the robbery and anyone with information is asked to contact Det Con Susan Russell from Milton Keynes local CID on 101.

If you don’t want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org.

No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
