Man stabbed by trio of burglars

A man was stabbed in the leg by three burglars who stole a handful of items and £40 during a robbery in Grange Farm on Sunday.

Thames Valley Police is now appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened at around 4.30am as the 35-year-old homeowner was sleeping.

After he was woken by his dog barking, the man was confronted by three male offenders who had broken in. They demanded money and attempted to tie his wrists before stabbing him in the leg.

They then put him and his partner in a room before leaving with small electrical items and £40.

The victim suffered puncture wounds to his leg and was taken to Milton Keynes Hospital for treatment. He left later that morning after receiving stitches.

The first man was white, medium build and average height. He was wearing black clothes and a woolly hat.

The second man was black, about 60-years-old, of an athletic build and was wearing black clothes.

The third man was black, average build and was wearing black clothes.
