More than 200 people gathered at the weeekend to celebrate Milton Keynes’ most prestigious places to eat, drink and socialise.

Now in its third year, MK Food and Leisure Awards, to honour the best restaurants, pubs, hotels, chefs, gyms and destinations in the city, were held at Jurys Inn.,

And on Sunday, the chef, restaurant and dish of the year was announced, with a number of Milton Keynes’ independents and chains recognised for their efforts.

There was also a silent auction and raffle, which raised nearly £2,000 for the Milton Keynes Food Bank.

Awards founder, Steven Dryden-Hall, said: “Congratulations not only to all the winners of awards but to everyone who took part and attended the event.

“It is lovely to see passionate, hard working people come together and celebrate all that’s great in Milton Keynes.

“Together we raised just under 2k for the MK Food Bank charity, which makes me a proud man.

“We are looking forward to the Awards next May already.”
