A children’s football coach from Milton Keynes has been nominated for an award recognising organisers of children’s activities and voted for by parents.
The nominees for the What’s On 4 2014 Junior Awards in association with Drayton Manor have been announced and Paul Darton from SOCATOTS Milton Keynes is among them.
The awards are now in their eighth year and celebrates the best activities, classes, people and places throughout the country as nominated and voted for by the experts - parents, carers and parents-to-be.
Paul is a nominee in the ‘Most outstanding activity leader for the Under 5’s – South, sponsored by The Hotel Nanny’ category which means they have received at least four nominations and will now go through to the national voting stage.
Paul said: “It’s fantastic to be nominated for an award. Everyone who attends our sessions will know that I absolutely love my job and just being nominated is a massive bonus. It is also great to be nominated as a male leader in a typically female area. Thank you to anyone who decides to vote for me.”
Socatots offers a pre-school football activity programme, specifically designed for children aged between walking and five years old. If you would like to vote for Paul log onto www.whatson4littleones.co.uk before May 15.
The winners will be announced at the live award ceremony on Friday, June 20.
