Cath Kidston is joining the retail line up on Silbury Arcade, centre:mk, this autumn.
The news follows Cath Kidston’s pop-up kiosk at centre:mk, which traded successfully last Christmas.
The permanent, 2,570 sq ft store will be adjacent to House of Fraser, Kurt Geiger and the recently announced White Company flagship.
Established in 1993, the brand now has more than 60 UK locations, as well as stores abroad in over 12 countries across Europe and Asia stocking a wide range of homeware, accessories, women’s fashion, and Cath Kids products.
Speaking on behalf of centre:mk’s joint owners, Hermes Real Estate and AustralianSuper, Ed Sellick, said: “We are thrilled Cath Kidston is returning to centre:mk with a permanent store. The brand is highly successful, has a great heritage and perfectly matches centre:mk’s visitor and catchment profile. Furthermore, Cath Kidston is further evidence of the growing number of leading brands that are selecting centre:mk for regionally dominant stores.”
Chris McKendrick, commercial director at Cath Kidston, said: “The success of our pop-up last year demonstrated what an ideal location centre:mk is for our brand.
“Moreover, Milton Keynes has its own special history as a city where the traditional meets the modern, and so is the perfect place to bring to life the unique Cath Kidston concept of Modern Vintage.”
