Missing teen ‘could be in Milton Keynes’

A missing 15-year-old who has been missing from a residential care home since last month could be in Milton Keynes.

Bedfordshire Police is becoming increasingly concerned about Lewis Barnett was last seen his placement in Manor Lane, Wymington, at 7pm on Wednesday June 25.

But he has been in contact via text message with the home and with his mother.

Lewis is mixed race, 5ft 5ins tall, of slim build and with a short Afro style haircut.

He was last seen wearing light blue jeans and a dark blue hooded top.

He has contacts in Hemel Hempstead, Northampton and the Milton Keynes area

Officers from the Missing Persons Unit would like to stress that Lewis is not in any sort of trouble with the police but would encourage him to get in contact so they know that he is safe and well.

If anyone has any information about the whereabouts of Lewis they should contact the Missing Persons Unit at Bedfordshire Police, in confidence, on 101, or text information to 07786 200011.
