Money stolen during distraction burglary

A man was distracted by three men claiming to be checking for asbestos during a burglary in Bletchley on Thursday..

At 7pm three men claiming to be from the local authority got in to a house in St David’s Close by claiming to be examining the house for asbestos.

One distracted the victim by walking out into the garden with him to examine the house from the outside while the other two stayed inside.

After they left, the owner realised they had stolen £50.

All three offenders are white men. The first is around 40, with dark hair. The second offender is around 63, and of a stocky build. There is no description of the third offender except that he too is a white man.

They were driving a white flat bed truck.
