Vital funds have been raised by Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance after a 12-month partnership with a garden centre.
Frosts at Woburn Sands helped raise £5,209.52 after teaming up the air ambulance and organising collections outside the garden centre.
Jeremy Frost accepted the certificate of thanks on behalf of the Garden Centre, while Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance Chairman, Sir Tim Jenner, was accompanied by volunteers; Lyn Purdie and Stuart Hall, to present the certificate.
Jeremy said: “We’re really pleased to be able to help the Air Ambulance raise these funds.
“It’s a great cause which we’re thrilled to be associated with.”
Sir Jenner said: “By allowing us to collect outside their stores, Frosts have helped us raise a great amount.
“Each mission costs around £2,500 and we receive no central government funding so we rely on events like this”.
