MP supports our heroes with poppy appeal in Bletchley

editorial image

MP Iain Stewart did his part for the Poppy Appeal on Friday when he visited Queensway, Bletchley to sell poppies.

Mr Stewart, who serves the Milton Keynes South area, sold poppies and raised vital funds for the poppy appeal as he spent hours walking the street.

On Remembrance Sunday he was invited to represent the constituency at a Royal Naval Association service in Queensway before attending services at St Mary’s Church, Bletchley and Horsefair Green, Stony Stratford.

He said: “It was a real privilege to be able to show my respect to our fallen heroes whose sacrifices have ensured that we have our security and freedom as a country.”
