MP Mark celebrates apprentice achievements
MP for Milton Keynes North, Mark Lancaster, was recently invited to Hanslope Park to celebrate the work of apprentices.
Mark, who is a great supporter of apprentices, was invited to speak during a celebration of the work the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Services apprentices have achieved over the past 40 years.
With over 340 having been trained at Hanslope Park and three quarters of them still working for the FCO Service the event was aimed at praising those who were completing apprenticeships.
Mark said “Milton Keynes has seen a 70% increase in apprenticeships being offered over the past 2 years and employers all over the city, including the FCO Service are keen to show their commitment to offering young people new opportunities. I am really impressed to see such a well respected organisation such as the FCO Services, giving local young people such a fantastic opportunity to gain a hands-on learning experience.”
