Mum and daughter hide upstairs during burglary

TWO teenage boys have pleaded guilty to a burglary in Heelands which saw a mother and her four-year-old daughter hiding upstairs.

The 17-year-olds, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Milton Keynes Youth Court yesterday , pleading guilty to a burglary at a house in Linton Close, on January 15.

During the burglary the mother found her house was being burgled and hid upstairs, before calling the police.

Detective Inspector Suzette Allcorn of Milton Keynes CID said: “We will continue to put pressure on burglars and pursue them tirelessly to put them before the courts.”

The two boys will be sentenced on a date to be confirmed.
