Passenger dies after van hits trees

A 24-YEAR-OLD man has died after the van he was travelling in hit trees near Moulsoe yesterday.

Police were called to Cranfield Road at 9.02pm after a white Iveco van, driven by a 42-year-old man left the road and collided with trees.

The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene with the driver taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital with serious injuries.

The road was closed for around five hours while police carried out investigations.

Any witnesses can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
