DONS’ chairman Pete Winkelman took a break from sport to appreciate some music last week.

Mr Winkelman – who is also managing director of property development consortium Inter MK – visited Walnuts School to help celebrate achievement.

Walnuts is a special school for children with autism.

Pete presented talented pupil Thomas Jennett with a platinum music certificate and medal from ABRSM – the exams board of the Royal Schools of Music – for playing the keyboard.

Thomas is the only keyboard player in Milton Keynes to receive this medal.

He played three pieces before being presented with his award.
