Poet laureate wins spot in comic final

MILTON Keynes poet laureate Mark Neil has reached the final of a national contest to find the brightest new comedy act.

Mr Neil has reached the last 16 of The NATYS: New Acts of The Year awards.

The acts will be showcased at Bloomsbury Theatre on Sunday, January 27.

Selected from over 175 entrants, the finalists will compete for the title, ‘Top of the Bill 2013’.
