Police appeal after cyclist injured in road traffic collision

A cyclist was left needing hospital treatment after a road traffic collision involving a Volkswagen Golf.

The man was cycling on St Andrews Road, Bletchley, at the junction with Buckingham Road on Monday night at about 8.45am. The two collided at the junction and police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward with information.

They are particularly interested to speak to a man who stopped to offer help.

The cyclist, a 42-year-old man, was taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital with lower back pain.
