A new bank promising ‘magic money machines’ and seven days a week service is set to open in Milton Keynes this Friday.
Metro Bank will open its doors for the first in thecentre:mk this weekend, offering ‘amazing services’ for customers.
The bank, in Midsummer Arcade, will be open 362 days a year, from 8am to 8pm weekdays, 8am to 6pm on Saturdays and 11am to 5pm on Sundays.
It will be Metro Bank’s 25th store in the country and its first to be opened in 2014.
Claiming to be the UK’s ‘most revolutionary bank’, it will be holding two days of celebrations on Friday and Saturday, and people visiting are promised an array of entertainment, including stilt walkers, face painting, performing dogs, balloons and music.
Customers will be looked after by a team led by regional director Brian Woolrich and store manager Philippa Britten.
Customers are even allowed to take their dogs into the bank.
Metro Bank launched in July 2010 with a focus on providing ‘unparalleled levels of service and convenience to customers’.
It claims to be bringing back traditional retail banking, coupled with ‘amazing technology’.
A second Metro Bank is planned for the Oakgrove area of Milton Keynes later this year.
