Following a tour of the building, Princess Anne met with volunteers, trustees and city business representatives.
The princess, who has been a patron of the UK-wide charity for 26 years, was there to present a certificate for city bank Santander.
It’s after they raised £10,000 for the charity, which ultimately equates to funding for 120 extra debt and budgeting appointments for people with financial problems.
Her Royal Highness also listened to a speech by Ben Thomas, MK CAB’s director. He told her: “I am delighted you have joined us today.”

Princess Anne was then presented with flowers from seven-year-old Grace Mutchell, whose mum is a volunteer turned staff member at the charity.
Grace told the Citizen: “I have been looking forward to this for a whole month. I wasn’t allowed to tell any of my friends until the last day of school.”
Sue Willis, managing director of customer experience and complaints, said it was an “honour” to meet the royal.
“It is quite a privilege to represent the bank for an event like this and meet a royal who is a patron is such a worthy cause.”
