Thames Valley Police is appealing for the public’s help to find a woman and her baby who have been missing from their homes in Slough since last week.

Sanuja Theivendirajah, aged 22, and her 11-month-old daughter Yalshana Yalenthan, were last seen by Sanuja’s partner at 2pm on Monday, February 6, at their home in Daniels Welch, Coffee Hall, Milton Keynes. Yalshana will have her first birthday tomorrow (18/2).

The mother and daughter are believed to be in the Sunderland area.

Sanuja is described as Asian, 5ft 5in and has shoulder length black hair.

Inspector Yakoob Teladia said: “We are becoming extremely concerned about the welfare of both mother and daughter. All we need to know is that they are safe and have come to no harm. I would urge Sanuja to attend her local police station and let us know she and her baby are safe.”

Anyone with any information about Sanuja’s whereabouts should contact Thames Valley Police via the non-emergency number on 101.

If you don’t want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
