The city’s concrete cows have been glammed up in circus make-up this week to celebrate the return of Circus at Frosts Garden Centre.

The cows have been given the makeover, which includes multi-coloured wigs, hats, ties and red noses ahead of the upcoming half term spectacular return of the popular circus on Saturday.

Martin Hindson, General Manager at Midsummer Place, said: “The cows in Oak Court are a wonderful attraction to people visiting the Centre and we occasionally let people add to their look to help promote a message. Frosts’ Circus is a very popular family event and we love the cows’ temporary makeover, it certainly brought a smile to my face.”

John Lawson’s award winning human circus has been voted ‘Britain’s Best Small Circus’ with its vast array of acts, which include aerial shows, hula hooping, sword and dagger balancing, trampolining, inflatable comedy bikes and crazy clown capers.

There will be four shows a day, running at 10.30am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm & 4.30pm. People are advised to arrive 15 minutes before the start of the performances, which last one hour. Tickets cost £5.99 per person and are available from Frosts at Woburn Sands or online www.frostsgroup.com.
