Sexual assaults: two charged

Two men have been charged in connection with sexual assaults in Milton Keynes.

Robert Horne, 25, of Crownhill, was charged with two counts of sexual assault relating to incidents on May 2 and June 5 in Bradville and Giffard Park respectively.

He is also jointly charged with 21-year-old Gavyn Bull-Jones, of Stantonbury, with attempted rape relating to an incident on May 27 in Mount Farm.

Both were arrested on Monday morning and police applied for two extensions to continue their questioning. Horne was charged at 3.13pm today (01/07) and Bull-Jones at 4.12pm.

Det Ch Insp Joe Kidman said: "These charges relate to incidents on the 2 May, 27 May and 5 June this year. An incident in Downs Barn on 17 June is still the subject of an active investigation.

"The description issued by us for this offence is still relevant and important to the ongoing investigation. High visibility police patrols on the Redways will continue and we would advise people to remain vigilant."
