A REMORSELESS thug who glassed a 17-year-old outside a pub has been imprisoned for six years.

Aaron Osbourne refused to admit he had attacked his victim outside the Cricketers in Oldbrook on Saturday, May 19.

The 19-year-old, from Church Street in Wolverton, was found guilty of causing grievous bodily harm with intent before Amersham Crown Court on September 28.

The attack had taken place after punters had spent the evening watching the European Cup Final, before a fight took place in the pub.

The victim then left the pub and was confronted by Osbourne, who struck him with a glass causing significant facial injuries.

Detective Constable Jesse Cousen, who investigated the case, said “I am pleased with the sentence, which reflects the seriousness of the offence and the fact that Osbourne continued to refuse to admit the offence or show any remorse to his victim.

“Thames Valley Police continue to work in partnership with local pubs taking positive action where police action is required and is encouraged at the assistance to the investigation provided by the owners of the pub and how they are providing a safe environment to their patrons.”
