A revamped restaurant opened to a warm reception by customers.

Following the reopening on Thursday, March 27, general manager of the Slug and Lettuce Milton Keynes Chad Dicks said: “What a night. The transformation of the venue looks absolutely fantastic. The comments from customers have been very positive. The new staff have embraced their training and hit the ground full running. A really great venue to shout about.”

The Slug and Lettuce in Milton Keynes reopened after an investment of £120,000, which will see the creation of 10 new jobs.

Owned and operated by the award-winning Stonegate Pub Company, the renovation gives a completely different look for the site including new décor, furniture, back bar, function room refurbishment and toilets.

The investment includes the introduction of Costa Coffee, which will mean guests can pop in for their morning coffee and breakfast from 10am Monday to Saturday and Midday on Sundays.

The Savoy Crescent venue will open Monday to Thursday until 12am, Friday and Saturday to 2am and Sunday to 10.30pm.
