Snow causes schools to close across the city

SCHOOLS around the area are making plans ahead of forecast snow this afternoon with partial closures.

Snow is falling lightly at the moment across the city but it is forecast to get heavier as the day goes on causing St Bernadette’s Catholic Primary school and White Spire school to close all together.

Slated Row has put out a notice to say they will be closing at 1.30pm today as will The Redway and Priory Rise schools.

St Mary Magdalene School will be closing at 1pm today. St Paul’s Catholic School and The Walnuts will be allowing pupils to leave from 1.30pm.
