Teenager robbed and forced to the floor by attacker in Milton Keynes

A 19-year-old woman was robbed of her mobile phone and forced to the floor as a thief attempted to snatch her handbag.

It happened by Germander Place in Conniburrow at 4.25pm last Thursday when the victim was walking along the redway towards the town centre talking on her phone.

The offender snatched the phone from her hand and tried to grab her bag, but failed to do so so ran off through the foliage onto Germander Place.

The offender is black, around 5ft 7ins tall, with short black afro hair and he was wearing a light beige woolen cardigan and red skinny jeans.

Anyone with information should contact PC Jacqueline Baverstock from Milton Keynes police station via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.

No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
