A Facebook campaign helped The Hub to raise £763 for Food Bank MK.
It saw £1 donated to the charity for every new ‘like’ it received on its dedicated Facebook page in the run-up to Christmas.
Rebecca Savage, charity spokesman, said: “We are so grateful to The Hub for running their fantastic ‘Like’ campaign again, donating even more than last year. Support from local companies like The Hub is crucial as Food Bank MK faced a 32% increase in demand on last year with many more families needing to access the service.”
Simon Spavins, from Broadoak Management, who manage The Hub, said: “It was our pleasure to once again support this worthwhile local charity. The Hub wanted to play its part, even in a small way, to make sure they can carry providing this invaluable support throughout the coming year.”
